It's that time of the year again where rock and metal gods of the music industry from around the world descend on Leeds for a day. But this year there's a big change for Slam Dunk Festival which is usually held in Leeds City Centre Millennium Square. It will be taking place at it's new home of Temple Newsam. The new home should give the festival a more personal feel and private setting away from the city centre.
It hosts an eclectic line up. Headline acts include Welsh metal stars Bullet for My Valentine. There is a host of American bands including Metalcore band Atreyu and American rock band New Found Glory who formed in 1997 they will be featuring alongside NOFX,  All Time Low, Simple Plan, Story of the year, Silverstein, Less than Jake, As it is, Waterparks and Bad Relgion who formed in 1980. The listed Bands above will play the Monster and Jagermiester stages.

Englands hardcore punk rock band Gallows will be playing the Impercon stage alongside The Bronx and Cancer Bats.

Whilst the Plain White Ts and Hello Goodbye will play the Marshall stage!

Here is the new site map -

There are many other acts playing over the Saturday that will grace a total of eight stages. The acoustic stage will feature Justin Courtney Pierre of Motion City Soundtrack.

The new setting of Temple Newsam reduces clashes of set times, ensuring fans get to see more of their favourite bands.
