Alex Boorman 27 of Thirsk, North Yorkshire died when his motorbike crashed on the A19 with a Vauxhall viva on the Easingwold bypass. The crash happened at 7:30pm last Thursday.
Colleagues of Alex at York Hospital are devasted by the young doctors death. And described him as having an impeccable bedside manner to his patients.
Clinical director for trauma and orthopedics stated that Alex was a very hard working, bright and caring individual who supported his colleagues as well as patients. He had a very bright future ahead of him.
The driver of the Vauxhall a 22 year old male has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and drug driving pending further investigations. A further 22 year old passenger of the Vauxhall was airlifted to Leeds General Infirmary and a 17 year old female passenger was taken to York Hospital.
Dr Boormans partner Alex Ballard said, “ He was the most wonderful human being I have ever met.”
“He made my life complete, and I can’t comprehend a future without him.” “I will always love you Aj Boorman.”
Police are still appealing for people who have may have seen the Vauxhall Viva around the time of the crash and/or the crash take place. If so members of the public can call the police on 101.
