Former Rugby League Star missing from York

(Via York Press) A FORMER rugby league star is being urged to contact police.  No-one has seen or heard from Johnny Waldron, a  York Acorn ARLC  stalwart who was on  York City Knights ' books between 2006 and 2009, since 3pm on Monday afternoon.  Officers are now appealing for the 32-year-old, or anyone with information about him, to contact them by calling 101.  Waldron, of  Dringhouses , broke try-scoring records for Acorn and made seven appearances for the Knights' first team, scoring four tries.  He is described as white, with long hair, 5ft 6" tall and a muscular to medium build.  A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said: "If anyone has seen him or knows of his whereabouts, please get in touch by calling 101."
