BCC 1s Live at the Apollo comic Lee Nelson tour coming to Selby

Lee Nelson  Saturday, 13th September 2014   Doors Open: 7.30pm   Show Starts at: 8.00pm    Prices: In Advance £17.50   On the door £19.50      He’s hosted BBC1’s Live at the Apollo, sold out his three times extended live tour, Lee Nelson Live Tour, had over two million people watching Lee Nelson’s Well Good Show on BBC3 and now it’s time for him to come to Selby with a night of qwaliteeee jokes, games and banter.    The comic creation of former medical doctor Simon Brodkin, Lee Nelson began life on Channel 4’s The Morning After Show before appearing in Al Murray’s Multiple Personality Disorder on ITV1 and in Brodkin’s debut Edinburgh Fringe show, alongside other characters including premiership footballer Jason Bent, in whose guise Brodkin has courted controversy by training uninvited with Manchester City and joining the England World Cup team on their flight to Brazil.    As Lee Nelson, Brodkin has appeared on ITV1’s Comedy Rocks, BBC1’s John Bishop Christmas Show and Let’s Dance For Comic Relief, garnered huge acclaim for his exuberant, breathless, fun filled live performances, and briefly stood as a parliamentary candidate in David Miliband’s former  South Shields  constituency!
