Connecting the people of Yorkshire

A great Xscape for Selby residents

It offers everything from laser questing, to skiing, climbing, snow boarding and has an array of bars and restaurants and not forgetting a large cinema. And now Selby residents can visit the complex via the new Selby bus route which has been funded by Selby Council. Four buses are set to run between Selby Bus Station and the popular Castleford entertainment venue each Wednesday afternoon throughout the summer. Doris Lake a grandmother from Brayton said it will be great over the next few weeks of the summer holidays as she has her grandchildren to keep entertained. I can now catch the bus from Brayton to Xscape and take the children for an afternoon out. The buses are being run by Arriva Yorkshire having being made possible thanks to funding provided by Selby Town Council along side parish councils in Brayton, Barlby, Hambleton and Monk Fryston. A spokesperson for the Town Council urged Selebians to make use of the service whilst it is available describing it as 'a fabulous facility for all the family.' Buses are set to run to the following timetable during the Wednesday afternoons of July 30th and August 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th.
