Named best in Yorkshire, York Independent Hair salon 'Bang Hair'

AN independent city centre business in York has been awarded the title of Yorkshire Hair Salon of the Year.  Bang Hair, based in Low Petergate, won the accolade at the third annual English Hair and Beauty Awards, hosted by Fake Bake.  Jonathan Cotton, co-director of Bang said: “We have such a passionate team of individuals at Bang, who are all achieving so much in their personal careers, as well as working together as a formidable team.  "We’re very lucky and proud of all of them, they truly deserve the recognition that this award gives to their dedication to being the very best at what they do.  "We would also like to thank our clients, who have shown us so much love and support over the last six years."  The awards event took place at the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel.  Rachel Brown of event organisers Creative Oceanic said: “The competition was heated this year as we had some very strong finalists.
